Teen Breathe is a magazine aimed at teenagers from the GMC group. This magazine was originally made and aimed at the girls but now there is a boys version too.
I only have one teenager in my house at the moment (lucky me!) and he happens to be a boy. Therefore this magazine seemed perfect for him.
It’s actually more like a book than your regular magazine. No flimsy thin cover or pages and instead good quality paper throughout. There’s 64 pages too covering lots of different topics so more than enough to keep stroppy teens interested.
The main issue of Teen Breathe is mindfulness. This word in a nutshell means being aware of thoughts, feelings and surroundings. The magazine then goes on to cover other topics which relate to many teenage boys. Issues such as bullying, school, changing bodies, stress and coping with being different are all covered. As well as many more issues.
Many interesting topics also get a mention. Science and coding being just one, as well as various sport, movie, music, news and global issues.
There are even a few activities and recipes to try too.
This is a monthly magazine which can be purchased via 6/12 month subscriptions and issues cost £3.99 each.
