Peanut hottie is the latest instant drink to hit the shelves. It comes with a unique peanut butter type flavour. It’s made with real peanuts so if you have an allergy then sadly this is not for you. It’s fairly healthy with under 100 calories per cup and tastes pretty delicious. It also has a fair few uses too.
The hot drink is pretty straightforward. Add a few scoops of the stuff to hot boiled water just like coffee to get a lovely warm sweet drink, a nice alternative to hot chocolate especially at night time.
There is another way to use this stuff in drinks tho and this is my preference. It’s mixing it with cold milk to get a peanut milkshake and it’s just fantastic. However the powder won’t just stir in or dissolve into milk unfortunately.
It needs either a smoothie maker or some sort of blender, like a Ninja BL610, and in my case it’s a hand blender and jug which can get a bit messy.
And then I’m left with a lovely tasting milkshake. I guess it could also be combined with a banana smoothie too to give the nutty flavour.
Peanut hottie even has its own website with a whole page of interesting food and drink Recipes which can be created with this stuff.
It’s available in most supermarkets and a full list of stockists can be found here.
