I am taking part in the Summer Linky Challenge at Britmums.
The Summer holidays is 42 days long and the challenge is all about filling those 42 days with fun low cost things to do.
For this challenge I was sent 2 packets of delicious BN biscuits.
All I had to do with these was eat them which proved very easy.
So here are some Summer activities so far.
Our Garden
The weather has been very nice which makes a lovely change to our usual wet Summers. Spending time in the garden is free. It’s not the biggest but we make the most of it.
I bought a small pool for just Β£12. Izzy loves it.
We also have lawns at the front as opposed to roads or pavements. Only 10 houses on my street and very friendly neighbours. Perfect for playing and picnics.
Of course staying home can get boring. There are lots of parks near us which are free. So armed with a picnic and the biscuits we have been busy visiting a few of them.
If you do have a bit of spare cash then there are always fun fairs on throughout the Summer too.
Many do wristband deals which works out better than paying for individual tickets.
Farms are always good to visit. Very educational and children love seeing animals close up. Some farms are free and some have a small charge. The problem with farms is that they are usually in an isolated rural location and can be hard to get to if you don’t drive.
We have been busy out and about at parks, fairs and a farm as well as our garden.
The biscuits are long gone and both flavours very nice. We still have lots of days out planned including a few fun museums.

Some great tips from you. I love how paddling pools are quite affordable and provide hours of fun. Parks are great too and it is important to use them. Commenting for myself @kateonthinice and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part
Thanks. I think we been lucky this year with the nice weather, it’s quite a rarity in this country to see constant warm weather. Not sure whet we would of done if it had rained.
