Lalaloopsy Babies

This is our Lalaloopsy baby. Her name is Crumbs Sugar Cookie.

Crumbs Sugar Cookie is super sweet, she loves fresh cookies when it’s time to eat. She’s always happy and she’s never sad, and if you give her a treat she’ll be oh so glad.
Our Lalaloopsy baby is just one of four which will be arriving in stores this Spring as part of the popular Lalaloopsy range.

Lalaloopsyβ„’ dolls were once just ordinary rag dolls that magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn, taking on the personality of the fabrics used to make them. They live in a fantastical world full of silly surprises and each character was β€˜sewn on’ a special date to reflect their personality.

On our Lalaloopsy baby’s box is a little birth certificate tag, which shows her birthday on which she was sewn on, and other bits of fun information which makes this adorable doll even cuter. Her birthday can also be found on her bottom too.

Lalaloopsy babies come with very soft huggable bodies. Perfect for cuddles. The dolls come with dummies which can be removed. The good thing I found about the dummies is that they are attached to the doll round the neck with a small piece of ribbon. This means the dummy is unlikely to be lost, which I have found with Jordanna is usually the case with her dolls.

The baby has big round black button eyes and comes with a removable hat which reveals a mould of pink hair. She has a cute yellow nappy on too which can also be removed revealing a little round belly button. So cute!
Baby comes with a bottle accessory which fits into her mouth when the dummy is removed.

The doll comes with an age guide of 4 and over. When the doll arrived Jordanna was at school. Izebella is almost 18 months old and been very unwell recently. When she saw the doll in the box, her little eyes lit up so I just had to take it out and show it her. It seemed to immediately cheer her up. I know she is a little young for the age guide but I found the doll had no small parts or anything she could choke on.
Izebella was fascinated by the fact the baby doll had a dummy like she does and she enjoyed taking out the dummy and putting it back in. She also takes off the hat and nappy and makes me put them back. She knows all the parts of the doll too. Such as dummy, nappy, bottle and loves feeding her with the bottle as the pictures show. Izebella loves dolls as does Jordanna and she is always loving and cuddling them. It’s very sweet to watch how gentle she is for her age.

Jordanna also loves playing with the baby doll too. They take turns to feed her. I may have to purchase another Lalaloopsy baby soon so that they then have one each. I never thought a doll could make a poorly little girl so happy.

There are 3 other Lalaloopsy baby dolls to collect.
– Pillow Featherbed
β„’, who loves to sleep, she’ll nap all day without making a peep. Although she’s quiet she sometimes snores, so make sure to tip-toe across the floor.
– Jewel Sparklesβ„’, who is a princess at heart, wearing something shiny, that’s how every day starts. She’s the most royal baby you’ll ever meet, but she’ll burst into giggles if you tickle her feet.
Mittens Fluff β€˜N’ Stuffβ„’, who loves cold and snow. Her favourite warm drink is hot cocoa. When it’s cold outside and her cheeks get red, she’ll stay indoors and snuggle in her bed.
The dolls all come with their own personalities and different birth/sew dates. They all also have a dummy, hat, nappy and bottle of their own.
They have a wipe clean face and the label on the doll says to hand wash only.

Lalaloopsy babies are bound to be loved by all little girls. Even Mummies will find these dolls adorable. They don’t need batteries and don’t come with any small fiddly accessories, just a bottle. They need lots of love and care and lots of hugs from little ones. They will soon become your little girls best friend.
If you have a little boy who likes dolls then they can of course play with them too. I have to put this as I don’t want to sound like I am saying only girls can have dolls. Ryan would never have played with one but some boys do.

They will cost approximately Β£19.99 and should be available from most good toy retailers.

Ah, glad it cheered her up! I’m loving the look of the Lalaloopsy dolls and I’m sure my 18 month old will be keen on them in the future #TriedTested

I was slightly worried with the age guide being 4. I have looked at the doll Over and over. Pulled and prodded it and cannot find anything an 18 month old would harm themselves with. I think they should maybe bring down the age guide.

I wonder if the age guide is more to do with them being able to use all the features? Usually safety ones say “36 months” when it’s a chocking hazard. Glad she’s enjoying her toy πŸ˜‰

You could be right there. The only thing Izebella can’t really do with it tho is put the hat back on. She can put the bottle in mouth and dummy no problem. She loves it and doesn’t let Jordanna near it at the moment x
