This is my first review of 2014. It’s a new year and I also have a new home. I have 3 young children as you know who end up with all sorts of stains and smells on their clothes, bedding and towels and it’s important that their clothes and clean especially for their new school this week.
I was asked to try some new laundry products called Halo Heavenly Soft it’s made a a small family run business and is designed for people with sensitive skin and therefore perfect for young children and babies. The formula is non bio and is also a low bubble formula meaning hardly any bubbles forming in the washing machine.
Halo Heavenly soft comes as a washing liquid and fabric conditioner. I quite liked the design of the bottle with the cute cherub on.
The washing liquid bottle contains enough formula for up to 25 washes. There is a measuring cap attached which holds 40mls of liquid. There are clear instructions on the back of the bottle and a cap full of liquid is enough for a normal load. Obviously for heavy or more soiled loads you would need to add more.
The washing liquid is white and has a slight sme of lemon or so I thought anyway. The fragrance is not too over powering but just right.
The fabric conditioner is a slight blue colour and has a very pleasant soft scent to it. Again a measuring cap is provided and again a cap full is usually enough for a normal wash. The fabric conditioner bottle has enough for 50 washes.
I have to admit although I have been washing clothes for god knows how many years; I’m still not certain where to put the fabric conditioner or why there are 3 drawers in washing machines. However I always put the fabric conditioner in the small middle drawer tho please correct me if I’m wrong.
After trying these products out for the first time I was rather impressed. I have used liquid washing products in the past and found I have to use a lot to get washing clean but this time I didn’t. I used one cap full of each product and my washing came out very clean. Izebellas bibs are usually the items with the toughest stains but they came out relatively clean and stain free. My washing smelt nice too with a combination of the light fragrances from both products. The clothes and towels also felt soft.
As a mother of 3 I think it’s important to use the right sort of laundry products to protect young skin from dryness and possibly allergies and therefore I would recommend the Halo Heavenly Softrange.
These laundry products are fairly new. More information on where to buy can be found on the Halo Website and they can also be purchased at Amazon and will hopefully be available in Morrisons stores soon
