Lego is such a fun toy. Kids never get bored of building things and then knocking it all down and restarting. It makes a great Christmas gift when the weather is too cold to play out and is a good sharing toy between siblings too.
This year Lego Friendssaw the launch of a new product series- Hobbies in Heartland. Lego Friends is the story of five girls and their everyday lives and personalities- Emma, Olivia, Andrea, Mia and Stephanie.
There are 14 new sets in the Lego Friends range making a total of 23 sets altogether. Each set is based around one of the characters such as “Stephanie’s soccer practice
The sets vary in size and pieces and range in price from £2.99-£39.99. The age range on the sets is 5-12 years, a must for any young girl.
Jordanna was sent some sets to review
. Each set contains all the Lego needed to build the Lego scene/structure and instructions. The instructions seem quite easy with no writing; just pictures showing you which bit goes where. Thus making it simpler for younger children who would find it hard to follow printed instructions.
Some of the parts can be very small so it’s obviously a good idea to keep them away from smaller children.
This is Mia’s Magic Tricks
and here is a photo of what’s inside the box before Jordanna built it.
. Jordanna was able to follow the simple instructions with a little help from me to create the finished product which she is very proud to display on her bedroom window.
. She is now in the process of building the rest of the Lego Friends World
I will of course update with more pictures as she builds them. The great thing is she can take them all apart and rebuild as many times as she wants.
