Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin balm is a multi use cream that all the family can use. This fabulous cream can be used for hands, nails, body, baby bottoms, face, and lips and just about anywhere else you would normally use body creams or moisturiser.
It comes out like a thick clear gel rather than a white cream. Being thicker means it dries and absorbs into the skin much quicker.
I was chosen by Britmums to take part in the #MyAquaphor challenge. The challenge is simply to show everyone how we use Aquaphor.
Well let’s start with my eldest daughter Jordanna. She suffers with dry skin and reoccurring strange rashes and spots so this stuff of course comes in useful to soothe her skin and it seems to work.
However just over a week ago, this happened!
Yes that’s my brand new tattoo. A full four hours of being inked and 4 hours of moderate pain. Yes it’s the puzzle box from Hellraiser and yes it was sore. I did a google search on the best tattoo care products and guess what came up as one of the best recommendations? Yes that’s right – Aquaphor.
And just so you know that’s it’s actually my tattoo on my leg!
I’ve been using this stuff on my leg pretty much the same night my tattoo was done, and it’s really helped with the healing. It’s soothes the itching which always happens with tattoos and after just 8 days it’s pretty much healed and not sore at all.
When applying the gel it does give my skin a temporary warm feeling. I’m not sure if that’s normal or it’s just because it’s being applied to a new tattoo but it’s only temporary.
Anyway that’s how useful the Aquaphor has been, mainly for me but for my daughter too.
