Scholastic books gift guide

Last month Scholastic launched their brand new Scholastic Gift Guide, exclusively dedicated to finding the perfect book to give children this Christmas. With over 150 brilliant book ideas and special offers, the guide is packed full of books  to suit all ages – from toddlers to teens
All the books are significantly discounted with up to 70% off the RRP – and, when you shop, Scholastic donate 20% worth of FREE BOOKS back to the shopper’s nominated nursery or school for every order over £10, so schools can build up their rewards and spend them on free books whenever they want.
The books included in the guide have been selected from around 70 publishers and are a time-saving round-up of the most wanted titles at the moment.

Scholastic have a book giveaway on at the moment via twitter and here is what you need to do.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is tell us which children’s book you’d love to give to a child this Christmas and why, tagging @ScholasticUK and using the hashtag #GiveABook. The three winners will be able to nominate a school or nursery too to receive £50 credit. This will end tomorrow December 16th.
The book I would nominate to give a child is – The Guinness book of records 2017. These have been around for years with a new one bought out every year. My son loves them. Full of useful facts and achievements and it’s something kids never get bored of looking at. We also happen to have this book along with two others from the Scholatic gift guide.

Lost in the snow by Holly Webb is about fluffy the poor kitten that no one wants and Lettice A Christmas wish is about a curious bunny named lettice and her finding out what Christmas is all about. All of these make lovely Xmas reads and great as stocking fillers or presents for young relatives.
