Pilot pens review & Giveaway

The end of the current school year is just weeks away, then comes the brand new term and year in September and it’s time to buy uniform and stationary once again. Pens are a necessity, both at school and at home and it’s usually the one thing that we can never find when we need one.

Pilot pens sent over a selection of their different pens to try out, these will come in useful for Ryan mainly who always loses his.

There are 3 different styles of pen here. First is the Frixion.

Frixion pens are erasable gel pens. Each Frixion pen measures 5.75 inches and they come in a fair few colours. The ink inside is thermo sensitive gel ink which disappears when erased using the friction rubber on the other side of the pen. The rubber is not like the traditional pencil rubbers and required minimal friction to rub out the pen marks leaving no damage to the paper.

Next the V5 & V7 hi-tecpoint. These are probably my favourite type of pen to use. They come equipped with an ink flow regulator, so you can enjoy consistent ink delivery right up to the very last drop. The nib of the V5 Hi-Tecpoint rollerball delivers a precise line of pure liquid ink, giving you a bright, dense colour. I think using these makes any piece of writing stand out much more. They sort of fall between a pen and fine marker and my son loves them too.

Finally the G2 pens The Pilot G2 07 is a retractable gel ink pen with a comfortable cushioned grip, One of Pilots best selling pens. It has a 0.7mm tip that writes a 0.39mm line.

The Pilot G207 gel pen has a 0.7mm tip, it is available in 14 standard ink colours, 6 metallic colours & 6 pastel colours. It can be refilled with Pilot G2 07 gel ink pen refills.

These pens possibly make the better and much easier school pen. They do not need lids and don’t dry out, the retractable end simply pushes down to release the pen nib. My

The pens can be purchased individually or in multipacks from most stationary stores and also supermarkets and Amazon.
