Gee Whizz review + Competition

Gee Whizz comes to us from Drumond Park. I have previously reviewed several games from them but this is a little different. It’s actually a magic set.

The box contains lots of magic tricks and illusions and of course no magic set would be complete without a magicians wand. Gee Whizz now belongs to Ryan who absolutely loves this type of thing.

The box comes very well presented. Everything fitting snuggly in its own little place. Everything is also really colourful and bright and so will certainly appeal to children.

From magically β€˜growing’ a flower from the end of a magic wand and looking through a pair of astounding rainbow glasses… to creating some truly awesome visual effects to stun themselves and their friends!

The tricks included are really easy to do. There was only one which Ryan struggled with which was the spinning coloured discs, he just could not get the disc onto the base . I especially enjoyed the rope cutting trick which really needs no practice at all. The tricks are best performed to young children such as Izebella (being 3) who has no idea how magic tricks work.

It makes a good set for beginners and is suitable for children ages 5 and over. I would say this age guide seems about right this time as younger children would probably not be able to understand it all.

A full coloured instruction guide is also included. Gee Whizz costs approximately Β£19.99 and should be available in most good toy stores.
