Battery Heated Glove Liners

Last month I reviewed a pair of battery heated gloves from Primrose
The gloves were good, did exactly what they are meant to do which is warm up the hands, but they were just a little too big and bulky for my small hands. So this month Primrose sent me another pair. This time the gloves are a much smaller and better fit for me.

These are actually called glove liners and I believe they are intended for wearing under a thicker pair of gloves, but they can also be used as stand alone gloves which is exactly what I intend to use them for.

Just like the previous pair, they are battery operated and work via one of the rectangle 9V batteries in each glove. The warmth can be felt within a few seconds and its lovely having warm hands in the cold weather. The batteries fit inside a little pocket on the back of the glove. This is also where the on/off switch is. I would say this switch could be better located as it can be a bit fumbly trying to open the pouch and locate the small switch especially with cold hands.

When in use the heat runs all throughout the gloves, right around the fingertip edges. It’s a nice comfortable warm heat which is just the right temperature and not too hot.
The gloves can also be combined with the disposable heat packs which are very inexpensive to purchase and which fit inside a side pocket.

When wearing these I do not need worry about taking them off to use my phone whilst out because the fingers have Tecsense spots allowing me to still use my touch screen devices.

The glove design is very slim and sleek, much betta suited to small womanly hands like mine. The battery pouch does stick out slightly on top of the hand but can easily be hidden with big coat sleeves.

There are 3 sizes of the glove liners and the gloves also have a small Velcro adjustment strap.

These cost £16.99 direct from Primrose and have proved very useful for cold morning school runs. I actually hate taking them off.
Primrose have a huge selection of heated clothing products to keep you warm in these cold Winter months.
