Party food at Tesco

Tesco is great value and they sell just about everything too.
I am so looking forward to my Christmas dinner this year and yet again I don’t have to do anything as my kind relatives are having us over for the day.
I am also looking forward to all the nibbles and party foods that come after (or even before) the big dinner.

Tesco currently has a lovely selection of party nibbles both fresh and frozen with meat and fish bits and a choice for the vegetarians too and of course some sweet cakes and desserts.

I was sent over some vouchers to buy some party nibbles. I have to admit I was quite spoilt for choice which is a first at my local Tesco store as usually they have nothing I want.

Here is what I chose!

Sticky barbecue wings
Chicken skewers
Pulled pork Sliders

All from the chilled fresh food section. All these products and more were on a 3 for 2 offer meaning the cheapest product is free. All of these products together came to about £9.00.

They are all easy to cook. The pulled pork sliders which are mini pork cheeseburgers go in the microwave for a few minutes then the chicken skewers and the wings in the oven for about 20 minutes. Then pick and eat!
The perfect party food!

The other thing you can see on the plates is a tear and share garlic flatbread which is also purchased from Tesco but not part of the party food section. The bottle of wine comes from Tesco too and costs less than £3.00. Best tasting wine ever.

What a great party we can have thanks to Tesco food!

Hey, I bought the telco pulled pork slider for a party on Saturday night, without realising it’s to be microwave cooked! We don’t own a microwave 🙁 do you think these could be cooked in the oven?? I don’t want to poison all our friend s just before Christmas! X

Yeah the pork on them is already cooked and the cheese just needs melting so its just a case of heating them up. 10 mins in a pre heated oven should be enough
