Freedom Confectionery

Way back in November last year I did a little post about Freedom Mallows. The post was short and sweet and I was still a fairly new blogger way back then. (Feeling old now!) I was quite surprised to find an email from Freedom Confectionery asking me if I would like to once again sample some of their confectionery.
The company have been making a few changes, both with a new brand image, repackaging and also the introduction of a few more marshmallow products.

As we all love marshmallows over in our little ole house, of course I agreed and was sent over some packets rather quickly, and here they are!

The packaging certainly seems to be geared towards families and children with bright colours and images of an animal, which I can’t quite put my finger on the name of it! The marshmallows are of course free of most allergy causing things such as dairy, gelatine, nuts and gluten and they are suitable for vegetarians and vegans too.

Despite being free of most things usually found in Marshmallows, I could not really taste any difference. They taste nice and sweet and are soft and squidgy just like they should be.
My kids happily shared a bag between them before going out for Halloween.

As well as the regular bags of mallows which get eaten just like any other sweet in out house, there is also a mini mallow version. These are just perfect for adding to a hot chocolate on a cold night.

The mallows come in flavours of vanilla and strawberry. They are created using a binding agent made from natural extracts and they contain no gelatine.
The bags cost about £2.50 and available from many retailers throughout the UK. A full list can be found on the website
