Those of you who have been following my blog from the start will know I am a huge fan of Churchills Confectionery and have done many review of their products along with the odd competition.
Churchills Confectionery sell a luxury range of fudge, biscuits, sweets and chocolates. Their confectionery comes in either highly decorative packets or fine embossed tins decorated with stunning artwork. Their packaging is truly unique and I have not seen anything quite like them anywhere else.
The confectionery makes a lovely gift any time of the year and especially so at Christmas time. Many of the tins and packets come with a Christmas theme such a winter wonderland scene, snowmen and Father Christmas.
I currently have 4 of their delicious confectionery products. They all come with a good shelf life and with a best before date of August 2015. Meaning it would be fine to get the now and store until Christmas. I’m not too sure mine will last until Christmas in my house. I have already been nibbling on a few and I think they are far too good to be kept in my cupboard for so long.
“This tin has been inspired by the Victorian Carousel of the late 19th century.
Originally powered by steam, the Carousel became a showpiece attraction – elaborately decorated and ornately carved. It reached its full maturity in 1912 when electricity became the main source of power.
Reminiscent of a hazy childhood dream, the scene depicted here is alive with wonder, perfectly evoking all the fun of the fair. With a remarkable sense of movement and depth, the intricately embossed carnival horses seem to gracefully whirl by – this is truly a toffee tin like no other.”
The fine attention to detail on this tin is fantastic. Even right down to the tiny detail on the carousel passengers faces.
On looking very closely, certain little details really start to stand out and it’s obvious a lot of work would have gone into creating this.
Yes the confectionery inside is delicious too.

Hansel & Gretel tin
This charming confectionery tin may not be made of gingerbread, cake and clear sugar, but its contents are no less delicious. The Hansel and Gretel novelty tin depicts the most famous of recordings by the Brothers Grimm. Embossed on the lid of this sharply detailed, emerald green tin is an illustration of Hansel and Gretel as they approach the wicked witch’s too-good-too-eat cottage. A touching gift for all occasions.

Now where did those tins get too?
Oh somebody likes them I see….
Winter Berries Carton Satchel
Now this would make a lovely little Christmas gift or stocking filler. It’s a cute little packet with a carry handle and decorated with Holly and berries. Inside the packet is 125g of Christmas pudding fudge.
Now naturally being greedy and curious I could not resist but eat some almost as soon as I received it. Oh my it’s good, very good. It’s a lovely soft buttery fudge and it has the slight taste of rum (as in rum flavour toffee etc) although it contains no alcohol. It’s lovely and the type of thing that makes me want to eat more. See more here.
Winter Berries Oval
My final product has similar decoration to the Winter Berries carton above but this time on an oval tin. It seems the sort of thing to have out on display Christmas Day for all your guests to share what’s inside. Which happens to be 200g of mouth watering chocolate fudge.
The great thing about these tins is of course that they can be kept and reused for storage. This tin can be seen here.
