Just Oil & Just Crisps

A few week back 2 very large boxes arrived at my door. I’m fairly used to receiving packages but these were big. Inside to my surprise were 12 bottles of cooking oils and a box full of crisps.

Both the oil and crisps come from the Just Oil Family. The Froggatt family are the owners and producers of the Just Oil and Just Crisps ranges. They are the same company but are two different websites. Just Oil for the oils and Just Crisps for crisps. Both of these websites will give details of local stockists.

Just Oil

The Froggatt family started producing Rapseed oil from crops on their farm in 2005. Their culinary oil is grown, harvested, cold pressed, filtered and bottled on their own farm and has won the Great Taste Gold Award several times.
They are constantly blending their clear rapseed oil with other ingredients to create other varieties of oil, dips and salad dressings.

I was sent 12 bottles of oils, in 9 different varieties.

Their Cold Pressed Extra Virgin oil comes in several varieties. A stand alone oil perfect for frying, marinades and salad dressing. Also oils with infusions of Lemon oil – great with fish or chicken, Chilli oil – for spicing up any dish, Garlic oil – can be used in just about any dish for garlic lovers.
The Stir fry oil sees infusions of Citral, Coriander, Ginger, Garlic and Capsicum and is perfect for making those oriental culinary delights or just using as a salad dressing.
Cold Oak Smoked oil adds a smoky flavour to dishes.

The other 3 bottled varieties of rapseed oil are a Vinaigrette with Lemon, Garlic & English Mustard again excellent with salads but also great with pasta dishes.
Salad Dressing with honey & mustard and a Balsamic Dressing & dipping oil this is a blend of rapseed oil with Aspall English Apple Balsamic vinegar. It is ideal for dipping breads and salads. Perfect for barbecues.

I was very surprised at the diversity of different oil infusions. I have never seen so many varieties in one box. They are all being put to use and are obviously lasting a long time. A little seems to go a long way and it’s top quality stuff too. When using the rapseed oil for light frying, I can really taste the difference in how the food tastes. Especially things such as eggs. I don’t think there is anything worse than cheap oils that taste of grease. Using quality oils makes a huge difference. As I was kindly sent so many. I gave a bottle to my mother who is now also seeing the benefits of using “Just Oil”
The bottles are all 220g.

JUST CRISPS
Just Crisps was launched in 2011. The crisps are made from just 2 ingredients. First is the potatoes grown on the family’s farm. The 2nd is their rapseed oil as above.

The crisps are produced on the farm. The potatoes sliced with skins on, the starch washed off to give a softer bite. Then flavoured by hand. The crisps are cooked in small batches to ensure excellent quality.
Suitable for both vegetarians and vegans and those with a Gluten free diet.
The crisps come in six flavours and in two bag sizes 40g and 150g.
Mature Cheddar & Onion
Sea salt & black pepper
Sea salt & apple balsamic vinegar

The crisps taste great. They are big with no crumbs, nice and tasty and full of natural flavour. The bags are unique and almost look like mini potato bags.
They were thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my children.

I’m really loving the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any
web browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog readers have
complained about my blog not working correctly in Explorer but
looks great in Firefox. Do you have any solutions to help
    fix this issue?
