The shorts come in a lovely turquoise and white colour and feature the endangered coral reef. They have a waterproof money holder in the back which is very useful for keeping cards and money dry and with you whilst swimming.
These shorts would be perfect for a holiday, day at the beach or even for a trip to the swimming pool. They will make a great Father’s Day gift for hubby, Dad or even Grandad.

I remember as a child we all went to France and each day I would have peas or carrots on my plate, neither of which I liked, everyone insisted I eat my veggies but when no one was looking my dad would take big mouthfuls and everyone praised me for being a good girl – it was our secret 🙂

I remember watching my dad mow the lawn when I was a child and all of a sudden the petrol mower sped up and my dad was hanging on for dear life. Nobody rescued him we were all creased up inside.

I remember my dad taking us to buy pumpkins at halloween then we had to draw out our face design on a piece of paper and he would carve into the pumpkins for us after we’d had major fun scooping out all the flesh and getting messy!!

After Sunday lunch, my Dad always took us on a walk in countryside. Usually, we were chased and had to hide from the farmers/landowners and occasionally caught and asked to leave.

When I was a child I lived on a farm & was quite a long way from school so had to be taken in a car. One snjowy winter’s day the lane was blocked & we couldn’t get a car up it. My dad decided he could still get me to school on a tractor. Imagine the other kid’s faces

My parents were one of those couples that stayed together for the sake of the kids which was probably a big mistake for them and us, we didn’t do things as a family, I remember when my dad took me and my sister on his own for a holiday in Blackpool to see the illuminations, its the only holiday my dad ever went on with us

My dad raised me alone and had to work 6 days a week to keep a roof over our heads. Every Sunday without fail he would take me to feed the ducks in my buggy. I remember eating the bread on the way there so there was none left for the ducks, hee hee! It is a very early memory and one I hold very dear to my heart x

My dad used to have a ‘look’ He always used to wear a bobble hat (hand knitted by my mum ) and he smoked a pipe- he even had a gap in his teeth that his pipe had worn down .He had that pipe in his mouth constantly, often unlit. Also to my dismay when we were out he used to hum a tune all the time . Well it wasn’t actually a hum but more of a ‘pom pah pom’ and totally his own made up tune. I remember once knocking his pipe out of his mouth playing swing ball. It actually shot out of his mouth and flew over two neighbour’s gardens .We got it back ! We also got the pipe back when he capsized canoeing .His bobble hat stayed firmly on his head. I have a lovely picture of him and I would do anything to see that old bobble hat and pipe firmly in place and hear his pom pah pom again.

My Dad telling me all about his collection from WW2. He showed me a spoon he found from a German soldier and his medals. Found it fascinating, the spoon which resided in the drawer was forever known as the German spoon when used in cooking. “pass me the German spoon”

When I was young I fell off a pony and broke my nose, but as we were miles from anywhere my Dad ran with me in his arms to get help. On arrival, my aunt decided that he needed help before me as he’d nearly killed himself getting there. He was always the same, the most generous person I’ve ever known, with everything

When I was younger i went to my Dad’s works Xmas party and my dad dressed up as Santa to give out the presents, i wasn’t suppose to know it was him, but i suddenly realised it was him as i recognised the socks i had given him for his birthday the month before! I then preceded to shout that it wasn’t Santa it was my dad! my mum tried to usher me out of the room so i wouldn’t ruin the Santa experience for the other children, i ended up having a tantrum and a lot of the other kids were crying. Needless to say my dad never played Santa again!

My Dad is my hero. He taught me how to swim, how to eat properly (etiquette) and all manner of life tips. We used to go walking the dogs, cycling, squash, playing pool – he is the best. He is always proud of me, and I love him.
