Valentines night in from Tesco

Look at all this lovely food and wine. A fine luxury meal perfect for two. Can you guess how much it all costs.

You would assume probably £40-£50 if you take into account the two bottles of fine wine right?
Well the total of everything is just £20 and it’s available right now in Tesco stores across the country.
You will have to excuse the lack of photographs on my post.
I was kindly sent some vouchers from the lovely people at Tesco to purchase a Valentine meal. However my postman decided that just for once he would turn up early instead of 11am and therefore I had one them annoying red cards waiting for me. Today I managed get the delayed mail and rushed off to Tesco so I could post in time for the big day. Therefore I will be adding more photographs of cooked meals later on.
Anyway I was very surprised at what I got for just £20. For £10 each you each get a starter, mains, desert and either a bottle of wine or a pack of fizzy drinks (I chose wine of course) .
The products will differ depending on what store you go and what they have available. Starters include an assortment of vegetable and potato dishes. I chose Cornish Butter Mash and Sea Salt Black Pepper Wedges
The mains are the big dinners and there certainly seems a lot of lovely food in these

As you can see my choices are Spiced Lamb meatballs & Chicken with lemon herb butter both of which will cook in 30 minutes in the oven.
Finally if I have room for dessert I have chose Salted caramel melt in the middle puddings & Profiteroles with Swiss chocolate & champagne.

Then of course 2 bottles of fine wine to wash it all down with. One white and one rosè.
Now as if that wasn’t enough for valentines day. Tesco also have lots of other Valentine treats on offer be it as a gift or just something you fancy. They have a selection of fine tempting chocolates which don’t cost the earth plus lollies, sweets, cakes and more. Everything you need for a perfect Valentines night in. After all most parents find it very difficult to get a night out and especially on Valentines day.

So this year why not head to Tesco and get yourself a delicious meal and wine for just £10 each. Absolute bargain and much cheaper than any restaurant.
