It’s that time of year when a few things are certain- dark nights, fireworks and colds. The lemsip adverts are already rolling and I barely slept last night.
I have awoken with a very sure throat and a slight sniffly nose. My head feels blocked and a little heavy and that all too familiar achey feeling.
I hope it passes soon. illness and looking after children don’t mix well.
If I was a man this would probably be man flu but I’m a woman and we just have to get on with it no matter how unwell we get.
