I have lots of memories of childhood and one thing I remember most is all the different sweets I tried plus going into local shops which would be lined with jars full of sweets. It was always do hard to choose which I wanted. Sadly things have changed and shops rarely sell the good old fashioned sweets. They can however still be purchased.
When All Occasion Sweet Shop offered to send me a retro sweet hamper; I could not wait to see what was inside and it certainly bought back some old childhood sweetie memories.
This lovely hamper came in an old style picnic basket which can be reused for a multitude of things. Inside as you can see it was packed full of delicious treats and contained.

*chocolate footballs
*dolly mixtures
*beer bottles
*wine gums
*lollies
And a few other delicious treats (unsure what they are all called) my children had never tried a few of the sweets as some of them are fairly hard to find these days but we all absolutely loved our sweetie hamper.
All Occasion Sweet Shop opened their original sweet shop in Lancashire back in the 1960s, providing local people with wonderful childhood memories of the shop.
