I often receive freebies in the post, like make-up, food and soft toys, but other than bills (of course) I love the post and can’t think of a worst/strange thing that’s come through the letter box.

Round about the time Royal Mail changed the way it priced letters, someone sent me an A4 envelope with just a small letter stamp on it – not only did I have to pay £1 to receive the letter, but it turned out to be junk mail!

I received some bagels which were not only mouldy but I had to go and fetch them as there was £2 excess postage to pay. Not happy.

I had just moved into a new flat and received a package in the post which shocked me to the core. It looked like a dead animal initially but on closer inspection i discovered it was a big bunch of real hair! After some investigation i found one of my neighbours was a mobile hairdresser who did hair extensions and it had been put through wrong letterbox. gross!!

I enter (& win) a large number of competitions so I’m used to receiving lovely surprises through the post, but the weirdest one was a DVD entitled ‘Orgasmic Birth’ – fairly self-explanatory!!!
