My five year old daughter Jordanna has very curly thick hair making her extremely prone to dreaded head lice.
. Like most parents I have bought and used all sorts of sprays and lotions and always put her hair up but the itching of head soon returns.
I was sent some Nitty Gritty Products to try out and they could not of come at a better time as Jordanna was itching her head yet again.
I received 150ml of nitty gritty solution, 250 ml of nitty gritty repellent spray, a plastic nit comb and award winning nitty gritty comb.
nitty gritty solution contains no nasties and contains a blend of natural oils giving it a nice fragrance.
I used this on Jordannas hair after parting it into sections and left the solution on for 20 minutes as stated.
. Once the solution had been on long enough it was time to comb through using the comb.
. The comb has microspiral grooves which slide through hair andany louse, egg or nit that they come into contact with.
. After running the comb through Jordannas hair just once I could already spot a nasty little critter on the comb. I went through her whole hair with this comb and pulled a fair few out (poor Jordanna) it took a while with her hair being so long and thick but think I got them all, or at least I hope I have anyway. I then went through with the plastic comb too just to be sure.
. After her hair was denitted and washed I sprayed on the repellent spray which is recommended for daily use to keep the bugs away.
This too smells good and the whole treatment left her hair, nice soft and shiny.
I highly recommend the nitty gritty products and will be encouraging friends and family to buy for their children too.
