Jordanna had homework which had to be about food , food production , where foods come from etc .
One of the suggested ideas was to make a banana loaf so this is what we did , aswell as some print outs on banana facts .
INGREDIENTS
250gms plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
1tsp baking powder
115gm butter
115gm sugar
2 eggs
2 mashed bananas
Pinch of salt
Tsp of vanilla essence
We preheated the oven to 180C
Combined the dry ingredients in a bowl
In another bowl creamed the butter and sugar and vanilla , then added eggs and bananas and mixed well
We then combined banana mixture to flour mixture and mixed well
Transferred to the greased baking tray (only one we could find)
and baked for 65 minutes .
ONE HOUR LATER.
leave to cool for 15 mins .
