Winter wonderland Manchester

Winter wonderland has once again arrived in Manchester and last night we went to the press event to check it all out.

The event opens to the public today. Tickets cost £19.50 and can be booked on the Winter wonderland website in 4 hour slots.

There’s lots to do there including many rides for all ages, various shows including Sooty, Rapunzel and a few other famous characters. There is even a circus and magic shows and a chance to learn some circus tricks too.

I took a lot of photographs there, so here they are.

Of course no Winter wonderland event would be the same without the arrival of a special person. That is of course Father Christmas and he even has some of his reindeers with him too.

We were there for about 2 and half hours which is not really enough time to do everything and see all the shows so you certainly need the full 4 hours. The place is huge. There are lots of places to eat and lots of stalls and games to win prizes. However if like me you have 3 kids or more this can work out very expensive. Hot dogs are £3.50 each, same for burgers or chips with gravy and the hook a duck works out at £3 a turn each, so just make sure you work out money for food and extras before arriving. The Santa visit is free but the gifts are £3.50 and a photo is £7.00. There is a cash machine inside event city before you enter the event.

It’s a good day out for all the family. Book tickets at http://www.winterwonderlandmanchester.com.
